19x8.5 +42 mm offset. I agree on the lowering also but have no interest in actually doing it. I lowered my f-body when I had it and hated the car after, it looked and handled good but rode like a matchbox car. I'm currently frustrated with my G8 enough from the drivetrain vibrations and clunking when shifting between P and D/R and on downshifts. Dealership is blaming it on the wheels saying that the tech can feel that the front left one is bent causing the vibration. it was vibrating well before the new wheels were on there. Aside from all that it's handling/ride is really sloppy and floaty. I'm thinking it needs new struts but they won't replace them under warranty, also said that the struts were fine. Ok I'll get off my soapbox now, lol.
Thanks for the comments fellas!
