I just read the whole thread on the other site and I guess that is why this site has grown so fast. There is no way a company like Pedders should be attacked like that ESPECIALLY after seeing the BULLSHIT pics that were posted using non GM components as a comparison! WOW! This is G8 Boards fault more then Dedes ignorance. 1. They let it go way too far once the pics showed he lied. 2. This is not the 1st time Pedders was attacked on G8 Boards. I guess thats OK though. I get banned AGAIN for sending invites to members for a different type of site, but it happens on all sites EVERYDAY! That tells me they know their site is failing and the fact that most of us are on 5+ sites has nothing to do with banning me for inviting members! Shit my moderators are that sites BEST members! I apologize to Pedders for having to constantly endure shit like that and assure them IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN HERE. Sorry about that rant, but that just wasnt right! Charlie

Now the thread has gone in a direction it never should have all because Admin/Mods didnt lock it down. This is not DMS fault. I would have said far worse especially when it comes to the credibility of the person stirring the shit up in the 1st place!

I agree, but if someone stepped in and stopped it 2 days ago it would not have happened. Let something like that happen here and I know it will get locked down and then I will get asked if its OK. Non vendors cant post here with out the GRRRR8 police instantly asking if they had my permission to post. As with anything in life, if there isnt someone to step in and say whats right and wrong, it becomes a free for all.

I agree it's gone too far, but it doesn't change the fact that as a business, you CANNOT call someone an a**hole, or piece of s***, or type in size 88 font (basically screaming). That is just poor business sense. You can see that Pete's replies are fairly professional and he pretty much just ignores the senseless bickering, but he really needs to let his guys know that responses like that are just unprofessional.

It didn't matter whether Rosie or Trump was in the right. In the end, they both looked terrible.

Speaking solely for myself, if a post/thread is done to insite riotous behavior, then dont be surprised when it happens, BUT if someone stepped in and locked it down or at the VERY least PMd both parties and said cut the shit or its getting locked down, that would have stopped it WAY before it got anywhere close to uncivil. Why should a paying vendor have to defend themselves? Against another vendor that in know way offers the SAME products or support on the same level. ADMIN/MODS fault.

I'm not gonna take a side in that debate, because I know little to nothing about suspension bushings...

But why does Pedders (or the dealer) offer that $1000 to $500 challange? Why would a customer take that challange if they have twice as much cash to lose? That's not really fair to ask, unless I'm missing something... Sure pedders does the work, but they made the challange, and it looks effectively like Pedders makes them pay $500 for the priveledge of winning the challange.

I brought it here because I couldnt voice my opinion there and Pedders is a vendor here and I wanted to let them know that type of issue will not happen here. Other then that you are right! lol

Dede has always been a Pedders hater. He was in my inbox over on the board when I was trying to get set up with Rob to have Pedder's put on my G8, telling me how crappy their stuff was. I was going to drive to Rob's place to have it done.
That guy is a scumbag!
