Iphone 3G help

Im in a little pickle. I started playing with my old 3G the other day and get ready to sell it to a friend. First, I flashed 4.2.1, jailbroke it with redsn0w, upgraded the baseband to 6.x.xx (Ipad), and unlocked with ultrasn0w. All was fine until I seen a website to do a Android dual boot. It only ran on 4.1 and lower, so I downgraded the firmware to 4.1 and jailbroke it. I went to install Android and I guess the BB wouldnt let it. Today, I went to reflash 4.2.1 the same way I downgraded because once you change the BB to the Ipad one, you cant change it or do an update through Itunes. Here's my dilema. Im stuck in recovery. I tried Tinyumbrela, irecovery, and irecfo with no luck. Can somebody help? I dont thing its bricked, but Im stumpped.

I gave up jailbreaking with ios4. I had jailbroken all my iPhones up until now :)
Sorry, I'm no help. What's the advantage of running the iPad format?

It was the only way to unlock because ultrasn0w would not work with my modem after flashing 4.2.1.

I downgraded to 4.1 and used tu to kick it out of recovery. I read you can only downgrade with custom ipsw's. I guess Im stuck on 4.1.
