you were following SRG's posts. introducing people who joined a year ago. really annoying, messing up my new posts search. Tool madness.

Because it's annoying to most everyone that uses the what's new function & has to wade thru them. It also costs people money/data that use their smartphones on that function. It's also bad netiquette to revive old threads. & it makes it so that people that are looking for answers or want to help answer a to a question get their posts lost in the shuffle of the the other mass of threads you just revived. Also welcoming people months or years after they introduced themselves isn't welcoming them, it's just wasting space. Those enough reasons? I gave up reading today because of you & the revived the posts.

I always click the New Posts link when browsing the forum. Get up this morning and there were 6 pages of posts, which I thought was odd for between 11pm and 9am, when there are typically 2 maybe 3 pages. I was a little disappointed when my introduction thread was missed, but then I realized I never made one. Guess I need to go start one?
