What is the largest setup that can be run on a GXP Diffuser?

Second, Is there a setup that is available in black? I can;t find the picture right now, but I saw a GT-R with Black tips, and the edge was blue, like when you heat steel. Anyone know of something like this that could be used on our car?

if you want them black. I have heard of people painting them with (bbq)grill paint which is high temp paint.

Thanks for the link! All I could find searching Google was stuff for Diesel trucks.

Anyone know what is the diameter of the exhaust exiting the back of stock GT mufflers?

Here is my idea, let me know what you think. I have removed all the chrome for my car. I was thinking of painting the muffler flat black and then going with flat black exhaust tips. Part of me thinks if they are black, they will kind of disappear in with the diffuser. Has anyone done this before?
Thanks
Tony

I want to say stock GT axlebacks are 3"? Can't remember, they're on my car right now (tips at least).

If I had to guess (and I do), I'd say the exit from the stock muffler is 2.25". The diameter of the J-pipes added to the PM/FL pipes is 2.25" and they look similar. If I'm wrong, I'm going into hiding!

Black Chrome would look good and stand out from the diffuser.

Good stuff. I used that to paint my calipers on my old car.

I enter my car in a lot of shows. I want something professional looking. BBQ paint just doesn't sound quite up to it.

I painted my 3.5" Solo tips black. I used black low gloss engine paint. Looks almost like a matte black.
