Hello Everyone,
I'm extending an invite for a GM meet on March 19th. Thread was originally created on tbssowners.com for just the Trailblazer's, but we figured out why not gather a larger crowd and extend to all GM performance vehicles. This is just a meet and greet, show your car off, and knock the dust off from winter, no entry fee, no racing, no sponsors...

The Capital City G8 guys aren't into this??? C'mon fellas, I know its a long way out, but some of you are planners and know whether or not you will be coming... All the NOVA, Tidewater, Maryland, NC and even some SC guys can attend this meet with ease... There are even some Adam's Polishes guys coming out to the event and will (supposedly) be handing out heavy discounts on products... Here is some more info on the meet:

11:00 am - The Hampton Roads Crew meet at Bass Pro in Hampton
11:15 am - The Hampton Roads Crew gets on the road - beautiful convoy!
12:15 pm - The Hampton Roads Crew meets up with Jay & his crew at Exxon off hwy 33.
01:00 pm - The Hampton Roads Crew arrives at Bass Pro in Ashland, Va.

Lunch Reservations are still pending. I think we should set it for 2:15pm that way we can count for delayed folks for traffic, etc.
We cannot "reserve" a section for the food so we'll have to go in and put our name on the list.

We will meet up in the Back End of the parking lot. We can do the meet and greet and then go in for some late lunch and the come back out and do more shooting the shit and pictures, etc. The Parking lot WILL be marked off for our crew!! Thanks Jay!

I might be up for this! Looks like it is about a 3 hour drive for me. I can say good possibility but it might interfere with my Maggi install. That weekend is a prime time for the install. I'll see if I can drum up some more interest down here.

I have put the notice out to three other G8ers and still waiting for them to get back to me if they can make it or not. I'm still hoping to have my Maggie on by then other wise I'll be installing that instead.
I also let the local GTO club pres. know and he said he would put it out to his people.

DVDDave is in the west end also and he is going. He would probably meet up with you. I would meet up with you as well but we would have to meet somewhere downtown that is a more central location. The west end is almost as far away from me as Bass Pro.

Web album of Bass Pro of the few images I took when I was there. It was great finally meeting Dave, Brian, Sonic, Scott, and the others. There are some nice local G8s that I have not seen around. Steve...it was good catching up, your car is awesome.

Yes, it was nice to put some faces to the names I see on here all the time. We had 8 G8's that showed up. I guess that was a fitting number. :)
