Do you have authorization from Charlie (GRRRR8) to be posting this up for sale?

Oh and I can't see how THAT is ram air...

Yeah, looks more like a Pull Air than a Ram Air.

Is this for a GT, or the V6? The picture you posted is on a V6.....

Hey in that note i first posted it talks about 2 intake systems the second one is one that bends down behind the driver side headlight to the frame rail for better air by wheel well

Yes they are a 90 day TRIAL vendor. We all know how I am and what this means. Cut them some slack please. It appears they rushed a post.

Not trying to knock you or anything, but did you test this? A cone filter right on the maf screws things up, loses power and can trip a maf code after time. I know, I tried it months ago, however the filter I tested it with is much bigger.

I agree, not to sure about this. Any numbers?

I'm with Mike 100% on this one same thing happened when I tested it way back when.

Chris,

Isn't that what you guys where sort of doing for years with the TBSS? ;) :nah:

I give VS Motorsports (not to be confused with VSM - vector---which I think they are pretty darn close...at first glance I thought this was a vector thread) some props for coming out!

Mine will be done soon, but I give props for beating other guys.

However, I agree with Mike and Chris as stated, and some testing should be done with the filter right on the end of the maf.

Further, the only other thing I would say is to give the angles a different thought...I can't give away how I'm doing things, but consider another angle for the airflow leaving the pipe and entering the coupler/TB. It looks maybe a hump hose or angle couplers might work better than the straight, the coupler looks stressed a bit.

Good job, and good luck with the sale.

and Merry Christmas!:windy:

Well the Gen 1 was all double ply silicone couplers with a stainless steel crossover tube that was ceramic coated. The parts alone were over $200 IIRC. The Gen 2 included a OEM designed neckdown removal that cost more than the sticker price of a loaded TBSS to get made ;)

And thats all I've got to say on that hopefully Kirk doesnt mind LOL

Well thanks for playing nice, I expected to get :hang:

heh.

I can vouch for the neckdown's price!! Even though VMS and others are competitors of mine, as I have stated, that TBSS neckdown (and I know who designed it) is a work of art!

Too bad the scoop never made it out :(

Anyhow, thanks again for playing nice! heh :headbang:

Hey guys yeah i just read all the post about being tested. We have some dyno time reserved for us that we are waiting for. We also have had the filter on for a month and no codes yet atleast. There is always room from improvements. Thanks again an i will keep you posted
