View Full Version : FYI: GXP Front Fascia Conversion

Greg@PacePerformance

As of February 1st GM has changed the cost of the front fascia from $171.00 retail to $474.59
I hope everyone that wanted to do the conversion has at least got the part on order by then.

Sorry for the bad news.
I'm surprised it took them this long to get the price in line with the GT version.

I am glad I was able to get mine done before the price increase. A lot of people are going to be disappointed.

WOOOOW. That is crazy. The $170 price surely had to be a mix up to begin with, given the price of the GT facia.

For anyone in the OKC area, I will have a minimally damaged GXP facia (dealer estimated repair cost to be less than buying a new one) for sale in a few weeks.

Yea sorry about the the late notice. GM doesn't give a heads up on price changes thay just happen on the 1st of every month.
None of the other parts have changed prices for the conversion.

I am presuming the lower lip insert is still not available?

Yes you are correct. Paul says next month they might be available.

Odd.. Below my cost now.
I looked up the GT front - $638.27 retail and the rear is $923.36 retail.

I was just hit by a plow, scraped my front fascia, so it's was almost perfect timing for this change-over, missed it by a couple days I guess, damn!

GXP fascia is still cheaper than the GT so it shouldn't be much of a problem since insurance is paying.

Son of a bitch!!!!!!! Just called and double checked with my parts guy, price tripled over night.
(was hoping I could sneak one through, but no luck)

Guess I'll be sticking with my slightly barely noticeable damaged GT fascia or doing a Chevy conversion once those parts start flooding the market.

Yep. I just emailed the Chevy dealership. They came right back with $474.59 If anyone is interested, gmpartsdirect still shows it for $107 (plus $113 shipping - :surprise:). Still $250 cheaper than the new price.

Thx Greg I called all the dealerships in town and they quoted me 474 so I went to the biggest stealership the one that use to charge 250 when the bumper wad 170 and it was still 250 so I hurried and payed . I told the guy to verify it was the right part and he type in the part number and the 474 price poped up to the right and my heart started racing but the guy didn't look and rang me up

Just enter the part number 92213340 (NAL-92213340) and it will show up. It's around $305 for the parts w/o shipping or Freight. I'm bout this far | | from placing an order, but I guess I should at least have a G8 first.....soon:)

Don't know how accurate this is, but the dealers below show inventory of at least one. Could be orders already allotted for customers or could be completely wrong :)

I figured that. They were the only ones in Ohio showing inventory for all of the GXP conversion parts (except for the rubber insert of course).

My GXP fascia got delivered today. I ordered it on Feb. 3rd as soon as I heard about the price increase. I managed to get it in to gmpartsdirect before they bumped up the price. Comes in a damn big box. Guess that explains the $113 shipping.
