Holden is now accepting orders from US police forces for a new police patrol vehicle, the Chevrolet Caprice. Here's some video we shot of the officers putting it through its paces. Enjoy!

Way to go Team Holden. I bet once this cop car comes online the cops will be looking for G8GT's to buy and then they will be hooked and also put out BOLO's for us G8GT's owners so see what we are up to on the streets and highways.

agreed. car is butt ugly. sounds exactly like a stock g8 though.

I think it's a great transmission when you're flying around, it knows when to downshift and shifts nice and crisp, it's just not so hot going slow.

agreed. car is butt ugly. sounds exactly like a stock g8 though.

the car is not butt ugly and it should sound like a g8 v8 as its the same car just LWB version with different front and back ends (panel work)

Personally, being an American, I hope that the Ford Taurus sells better. Made in/around Chicago IL. it helps feed more Americans.

Good luck with that! I have already seen some here in the Charlotte area.

Dont worry about your car loosing value. Most people don't have a clue about the G8 or the Caprice... I have seen some people call my G8 a G6 or others. And a very small percentage might know they are made in Australia. I haven't met anyone yet that knows that. Not even the dealerships that are selling them (used of course).
