Holden Cabin Airfilter

Not an install guide (there is one posted already) but a head's up you can get these from Paul and a quick summary.

Very happy I purchased these from Crazy Paul rather than from a local auto parts store (Napa, etc.). Price was a little cheaper than some have paid local and a "genuine" sourced Holden part. Quality seems good, packaging was perfect, and shipping was fast (around week and half). Transaction with Paul perfect, no complaints. Bought two to save on shipping.

Paul even included the install sheet and warranty card from Holden, nice touch!

My opinion: As long as Crazy Paul can meet or beat local pricing in "The States", Buy these from Paul!

I definitely need to remember this.. The NAPA one I purchased for 39.00 sucked ass. No matter what I did it wouldn't fit right and seemed to be a lot thicker than the stock.

Does this oem any different then the one made by wix?
My car had 30k miles had a wix filter in it so I replaced with wix. Figured that was oem, or am I wrong

The OEM cabin filter is Made in Germany.
On the longest straight side it has the following print " AIRFLOW (with 2 direction arrows); tiny Holden logo with HOLDEN written below it; 921 842 48 (GM part No); micronAir; 169 8 (maybe a batch number)."

Not at ALL trying to take away from buying from Paul as he's a GREAT guy, but this exact filter IS available from Greg at Wasslow (formerly Pace). Instructions and all... Says Holden all over it.

I replaced mine this weekend with 27,488 miles on it. NO gravel roads or dirty areas... Check out the picture of it. If you haven't looked at yours, you may want to. :mellow:

Can you tell which one is the dirty one? :shutup:
