A good friend of mine has a powder coating shop. He powder coated his coils red (MSD coil performance without the MSD price tag) so we decided to powder coat my set. Yes, they still work.

Sorry about the dirty engine bay. Previous owner put ArmorAll over over it.

I like it! I would have thought the baking might damage the coils, guess not though...

He knows the temp that works. Could probably go hotter, but we know it works where it's at. Gonna talk to him about pricing in case anyone is interested.

I might be interested if pricing and turn-around time are good. They look great. I'd probably go with red though.

I am going to call my supplier to see what a new set of coils cost, so we have a set to do on an exchange basis for those that can't afford any downtime. I figure everyone's car at this point has low enough miles that you wouldn't have to worry about getting an "old" exchange set.

For anyone that doesn't want to do an exchange, we will have 24 hour turn around on them. Overnight shipping, etc will be available if needed.

+ 1 million...post up or PM info, thanks!

PS, i have a stock LS1 - would i qualify for the exchange or would it be better for me to send mine in?
