The falken azenis RT 615s are they any good. Just wondering found 295/40/18's for $59 each. My kdw2's are ready for a change and since deploying don't want to waste a ton on tires.

I found this on LS1GTO, it sounds like they are decent tires.

Falken Azenis RT-615 Review
Well I've had these on a 2nd set of black wheels for a while now. Bought them for special purpose Auto-X and HPDE events as the price was pretty good and I didn't want to destroy my street tires on a weekend.

I've now run probably about 4 auto-x events and 3 full two day HPDE at Texas World Speedway's 2.9mi road course, the last one being two trackdays this weekend.

Verdict: FLIPPING OUTSTANDING!!!!!!

Again, for the price, I don't know if you can beat these. They are full street legal and not an R-Compound. Maybe the Bridgestone RE-01's are better but they can be much (+ the Falkens are cheaper).

Foremost, once heated up, these will grip like crazy! Neither my Toyo's TR1s or my newer Dunlops SP Sport Maxx hold a candle to the RT-615's in ultimate grip. And the RT-615 is very predicable on break way. You'll feel and hear them when you push it to the limit. Sidewall stiffness is excellent. You have to plow pretty hard to roll over on the tread (yeah, I’ve done it to know, lol)

As for temp issues, well last weekend it was in the mid 80's here and sunny here in Tx. No problems with a 25 minute track session at TWS. But, I'd admit, running them in late July here with 103 deg temps could be a different story.

Good stuff. Looks like I got got a great deal.

Ones for front was a lot more compared to 59 each.

Just don't get them too hot, the rubber will melt right off the tire. They have a very soft rubber compound so you just need to warm them up a little.
