I (http://portland.craigslist.org/email.friend?postingID=2137120616&token=U2FsdGVkX18xMjYyNzEyNtK3yCffVBjgXQZkOT9VJ30S r6FXjQZdbnh__RTxHE20p_nC_BHPxlY5CJAadzvC5BwH3doNes 4a) still need to find out what the off set is, and I am unsure if a 17" wheel will fit. Any help on this? Seems like a great buy if they will fit.

Second to last pic shows where the wheel was widened .

Thanks all,

17's will fit your car but the tires & wheels are too small and you'll have fender gap city.

Visually the offset looks wrong. 17s will fit. Most 275/40/17s are about 25.5 tall vs. your 26.2-26.7 in tall factory tires.

I was looking to use them as a drag setup but both your comments make sense. Thanks....

Most of the 17" wheels for the GTO at Tire Rack have a 40-45 offset which is the same for the G8, so if you put bigger tires on them they should be ok for drag racing. Since the tires are in good condition you could sell them to the GTO or F-Body guys because that's the size they use.
