I custom made a bracket for DH so it would be tilted slightly up.

What is that attached to? Is it mounted from the top, or the bottom?

It is almost shaped like a Z and it is double sided taped on top and bottom. You can press the buttons plenty hard and it wont budge. They need to be secure(0 movement) for highest accuracy.

You mean when I stomp on it and it flies out of that little cubbyhole and goes rolling across the console, it's not a good thing?

Unsnap the lower panel and the side console panel and make sure you dont catch it on the a/c components or the brake pedal arm.

When you say the lower panel - do you mean the black panel that is between the floor board and knee bolster? Where is the best place to pull on this panel to remove it? It seemed like I was pulling on it pretty good and it wasn't moving. It seemed if I pulled any harder, it would break. Maybe I was pulling in the wrong place.

It takes a firm effort and sometimes the white fasteners stay attached and you have to remove them and put them back on the panel.

I thought of putting mine there but instead I put it back inside the box it came in...
My garage door opener goes in that cubby...
I'll pull it out when I need it I guess.

I put mine on a Sirius portable radio mount.

Looks quite good. I was lazy & put it the exact same place but used mushroom head velcro. I love that stuff. :p

Although I have the Charger SRT8, I was going to put it there as well but it covered the ashtray which I use for change...now someone else made it so that it was actually located in the ashtray compartment and it looked real clean and tidy. I put mine here and it's actually pretty visible and accessible but doesn't look that great.
