Dealer has the car. I thought it was about 5 to 6K below retail price. I am calling the dealer tomorrow. Sounds too damn good to be true. I don't trust CarFax. Says car was never wrecked or flooded. But then again who knows. According to CarFax car has averaged less than 1,000 miles per month. Car comes with a buy back warranty. Just thinking what mods I would do to it initially. Lets see, HSV gauges, BMR tunnel and frame attachments, Spohn front LCAs, strut bushing and bearings and bushing change out. I could live with the FE3 suspension for awhile. Door speakers would have to be changed out. So what else on the GXP as far as suspension? And yes Jess would be contacting you on a Magnacharger. Gee I won't sleep tonight. Wish it were a MT.

That's a great price, if it's legit. Pull what mods you can off your current car and move them over.

Hi Doc, well one more year to 2012. If the Mayians are right, might as well spend it. Just trying to see how the FE3 suspension would ride/handle compared to my current V6 with the mods that I have done.

It'll ride a little stiffer than your car but it will handle much better. Take it for a ride then you'll know for sure if you like it.

Only thing I could swap out easy would be the auto dimming mirror. LOL Maybe the BMR Tunnel brace and frame attachments and the weathertech mats. Don't know if the bra would fit or not. Everything else would go when I would sell the V6. Car is SRM, listed on AutoTrader at Dealer in Dallas, TX. So what else on the suspension as far as initial change outs? But they are selling the car for almost 6K below retail. Wonder what the story is.

This isn't a good time to sell a high powered rear wheel drive car so they have it priced to sell. I wouldn't be concerned about the car just because the price is low, I bought mine used for $20K and it's been totally trouble free. Two years later my car is worth more than I paid for it so I'm glad I bought it at that price.

with the Pedders system you already have,I would think your current car would be stiffer and handle better. But there is only 1 way to find out:)

I think the fe3 is a great compromise between performance and daily drivability, especially if you have kids and a wife who isn't into cars, like mine :) . That car will go fast. I actually live about 10 miles from that dealer. If you make a deal with them and need someone to take a look at it for you, let me know. I can't go today, but I could probably swing it tomorrow.

Ha, I saw that that ad before the pictures were even loaded...checked on aeroplane tickets, taxi, transporter, etc. If my dang HVAC loan was paid off (end of month) I'd been all over it. Good luck on the purchase. Get a pic of a big ol' smokie.:)
