The guy that put on my Hiflow cats told me he could get $200 a piece for the stock cats at a scrap yard. They"re $825 a piece from a dealer.

Actually the manifolds are what I'm interested in. I may look into porting them for my new setup. Vic, I actually have thought about your mid legnths but for the tt setup that I'm working on I'm not sure how they will workout for me.

I think I remember someone porting their stockers and picking up a decent amount of power. Patrick G said something about it last time I was out there. I can't remember who it was though.

THis pisses me off now...... Last year when I had my new exhaust put on at Livernois, they said they couldnt give me my stock cats back because they were "STOLEN" from their shop....... great... now I see what might have happened.....

I gave Fatdaddy (Mitch) one of the many sets I have. I have 6 sets of manifolds and cats if someone needs them for porting. It does pick up HP.

FYI I got $30 for both cats yesterday from a scrap yard. I'm not sure who else has actually turned theirs in, but listening to people saying you "should" or "could" get a certain amount probably isn't worth banking on. Of the 3 main kind of cat's GM makes, we get the cheapest. Again...just an FYI, not trying to crap on anyones thread, but people were asking about it.
