View Full Version : ARH with mid muffler

Can anyone advise me on whether it would be good for sound attenuation to put a mid muffler on the ARH header system, keeping the stock muffs of course, and would you still have the uncompromised performance of LT headers after doing that?

you won't get the full effect of the headers im sure and will need extra work to weld it in unless you mean get only the headers which I doubt would be worth it.

If you are keeping the stock mufflers you don't need the extra muffler.

The way I feel most days about most things asked! LMAO! You dont need a mid muffler with ARH and stock muffs. You have an X with ARH and that would defeat the purpose.

The quietest you will get is with the stock mufflers......You don't notice the headers then untill you go WOT.

Well, I've pretty much decided that it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to get a cam and not have LT's. I think it would pretty severely limit any performance gains you were hoping to achieve.
