I picked up a set of Forgiato Estremo wheels off Ebay. They came off a '97 BMW M3 (looks like all those style 3-series have the same offset). They are 19x8.5 in the front, 19x10 in the rear. No ideas on exact offset as it's a 3 piece wheel so it's not stamped on the back.

Tires are 235/35-19 and 265/35-19. I paid 2 grand shipped for them, used wheels with new tires. Go price check 'em new.

For some reason they have 2 valve stems, one solid metal one and one rubber one that is on the back edge. I was worried about getting tire pressure sensors on but when I saw the rubber stems on the back, I figured it out. ;)

I'm not sure if I am going to paint the black part white or what. I figured I'd ride them like this for a couple wheels and collect other people's thoughts on it.

Aight, enough rambling, I know you don't care about anything more than the pics. :)

And a couple from Thanksgiving in NC sans new wheels.

I'm not sure how I feel about those.

I'm sort of "Meh".

Maybe if they were all silver.

As long as you like them, that's all that matters.

I have to agree. Maybe if the black was color matched to the car? I'm not sure.

On another note, I see that the rears are 19X10. Any rubbing?

I want 19 or 20x10 rears with 315s.

I had 3 passengers in the car (4 including me) tonight, and I heard a scrub on the left rear once. The road was pretty bad though. When I put the Pedders springs in I will see if I can find the source of the rub.

Can you put a 315 on a 10" wheel? Either way, I would guess it's going to be tight without nailing the backspacing perfect.

I think they would look beter if you painted the car PBM or MGM...

I'm not into the wheels. Rubber looks good though.

I like em, a lot.

My concern is about the tire sizes, front to rear. I do not think they are the same diameter and would not be spinning at the rate (pulses per mile from the wheel sensors). I wonder if that would have any negative impact on the ABS or ESC systems. I don't know, i just question if it might and what others more tuned in might think.

FWIW, I haven't had any ABS lights or anything come on. I'm not sure if it would have an effect on it though. My 2400lb Porsche 914-6 has better brakes than the G8 and it doesn't have any ABS, so I'm not worried about it.

Had I bought the tires myself I would have chosen a different tire size setup, but it'll work for now.

Probably should have 10.5" wheels.

What size wheel? I was thinking closer to 11" depending on how short the sidewall is going to be.

19 or 20

I wonder if 11" will fit, even with rolling the lip?
