my CEL came on when a clamp slipped off a duct on my home-made CAI.
How can I get this off quickly and easily.
thanks,
Chuck

Disconnect battery, left side of trunk behind panel.

Know anyone with a Dashhawk? If not, I know some parts stores can read codes, not sure if they can reset or not.
with the issue fixed the CEL may go away shortly on it's own (although i guess it would still exist as a historical code)?

Autozone around here used to clear codes. I haven't been there in a long time so I can't say for sure but I'd try the Grrrr8 method first. It seems to be the easiest and quickest.

...thanks guys, pulled the negative cable for about a minute...turned the key, tapped the brake....
worked perfectly.
Car is running strong, I love it....still less than 300 miles on her.
The battery in the trunk is pretty slick too.....although I wish it were on the pass side.
