There is a brand new 2008 I think Shelby GT 500 at the Ford dealer in town. Man I really wanted to get that car but the markup on top of me going to be upside down was just too much. It's still sittin there! http://forum.grrrr8.net/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

Love the tinted tails - happen to know the perctage? I've got some sheets coming for my G8 i'll be cutting myself... light & dark (33% and 66%) hope it'll turn out..

The tails were dipped until the medium tint was about right. Then color sanded and cleared.

In Indiana, the law is the tail lihts need to be seen from a 100'. I have pics, and never was bothered by the law.

Wasn't able to keep it (SC plates, bought car in NC and they didn't transfer) but I have the plate to put on my G8GT for any auto shows I attend.

I've applied for another tag....GR8RIDE. My second was ILBCNYA (a Texas favorite) and RAREONE.

Couple gals I've dated said that when they first saw my plate, they thought I'd be missing a arm or something http://forum.grrrr8.net/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif.

I've currently got a Black Saturn Vue Redline which is the sportier of the Vue's. The car is a total P.O.S. but the engine and trans are awesome! Both are made by Honda. 3.5L VTEC equipped 250bhp and 244lbft of torque. Quiet and SMOOTH as butter!

I also have a 1998 F-150 4x4 shorty with the under powered yet reliable 5.4 liter triton. I ordered this from the factory and bought it out of it's lease. Great truck! BAD MPG... http://forum.grrrr8.net/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif No pic!

I also have a few bikes... Suzuki SV1000S, Yamaha Vmax, and a Jincheng Panda which started life as a 50cc street legal Honda 50 replica and is now an 87cc high compression street legal Honda 50 replica... It does about 50-55mph now. About twice what it would do stock and that's with my fat a$$ on there...

I've had several other bikes and cars as well... It's a sickness. My G/F of 5 months is completely understanding of it though...

I traded in a 2004 Denali XL. Loved the truck. Had a flowmaster exhaust system installed and it mad it sound real mean. Also, installed a set of angel eyes. I wonder what they would look like on the G8? Hated to get rid of it, but the cost to fill it up got to be too much.

No sir, Ram Air III, 400 CI, 335 horse with the auto trans. Had to make room $ wise for the new home I built. Had the car from right out of high school until this year. It was a lot of fun to say the least, but got too risky to drive. Years ago when I would race it, it would turn 13.80 with the stock tires. Add the M&H (26") slicks and would run high 12's. I did have a .30 over 455 HO engine from a 71 TA in it for the longest time so as to not ruin the original engine. The best run with that engine was 12.48 at 107 or so, if my memory serves me! That was from the basic HO engine, headers, cam, and stock intake and Q-jet.

Not mine, but a picture of what it looked like...

Was a pretty reliable ride and fun as anything with the top down, but I wanted something a little larger and more stable. (ok, ok... something that was bad ass, too!)

Well I took the gas hog out on Friday night and Saturday so I took some pictures of it. These were taken at night with my phone so they aren't by any stretch good but they got the job done.

It's a 1998 F-150 4x4 short bed standard cab. Pretty fun to drive but BAD on gas. I ordered it new from the factory in 1997 so I've had it 11 years at the end of this month. It just turned 89,000 miles. THIS is my baby!

Cheers!
