Planning some cruises for next year already.

1st

This sounds like a lot of fun.

It's never to early to plan! For those of you that have never been out to KAH-NEE-TA, it's a really nice resort located 100 miles East of HWY 26. The drive out there has some really nice long open roads to rally on Lot's of activities to do, golf, hike, gambling, spa, multiple pools, smith rock, canyon exploring. So I spoke to Celia Lozano the senior sales manager and she has worked out a great group rate for us. So here is what I was thinking date wise and how it would work to get the rates she quoted..

June 3rd-5th or 10th-12th
Head out June 10 and stay the weekend and head home on Sunday the 12th. Plenty of time to plan ahead. If these dates don't work for some of you, we can figure a time that does. So what we need to get the rates she quoted me is, to have at least 5 separate rooms booked for 2 nights or 10 separate rooms booked for 1 night. Talking with a few of the guys already, we are planning to make the most of the trip and stay 2 nights. You can stay 1 if you want but you may have to pay normal pricing. Each night would be $110 (normally $160) each room has either 1 or 2 King beds. Note: these prices and rooms are for the main Lodge (there is a Village portion of the property you can stay in but it's mainly for families w/ children). So some of you could share a room w/ the two kings to get the cost down. The nights stay also includes full access to both pools and a continental breakfast each morning. I'm hoping for a good turn out so put your big boy pants on and let's do this! The earlier we plan this the better!

Crater Lake

We had a lot of fun this last Aug and want to do it again.

The weekend in July 2011 29th-30th

We are planning this far enough in advance so we can stay up at the lodge on the lake. We would need to make our reservation in the next month if we want to get a room and even then they might be books. If the rooms are all booked then we can stay at the Holiday in again.

I would like to get 10 cars for this at least.

Pics from this last Aug.

A Crater Lake drive (cruise) sounds interesting. One place you never get tired of seeing, especially since we only go about every 10 years. Summers are always busy with haying and work, so staying at the lodge or even overnight would most likely be out. By the 3rd picture, it looks like our car went last year without us. Thinking about a Redwood drive this summer. My wife wants to make that a camping trip, but I can't see her tent camping out of the G8. Usually, requires a loaded Yukon. lol
