I have been working with Judah over at American Car Craft. What a great group, awesome response time, and amazing product. I ended up getting a ton of great stuff from them. Judah, helped me piece together a bunch of parts for the car. I have had about 1000 complements on the stuff since I put it on too. The quality is second to none. I could not be more pleased with how tight and accurate the fit is. I thought a few pieces would not fit because it was so close, it is just a quality build, and not that mass produced junk with a sloppy fit.

I have 3 favorite parts of the stuff I ordered so far. If you could make a wish list and start with a few parts, this is what I would recommend I think once you see the fit and finish of the product, you will come back for more. 1 section (3 pieces the diffuser grille, the valance, and the exhaust trim plates) for the rear, the interior air vents, the front vented hood panel.

I have the rear diffuser with the chrome finish around the edge. It looks awesome. With the mesh insert grille in the diffuser it really draws your attention to the entire back end. I think if you are a little tight on money you can skip the grille piece for a similar result. Reflects beautifully, and draws some attention to the bottom of the car where I think it was lacking.

The air vent surrounds look like they should be a factory option for the car. They look so cool, and give the interior a professional/sporty touch that looks more high class sports car then anything else.

The hood liner with the mirror/chrome finish is a car show pleaser. Nothing like popping the hood for someone only to have them smile and say, "that is awesome" looking at the mirror first. It use to be "this thing has a 6.0L" Now that becomes a later question. Most people stare and walk over from a distance. You really don't miss it at a car show. Cleans up under the hood so much too. Car does not run any hotter, fits like a glove and really pops under the hood.

I will be getting back with ACC about future purchases for additional goods. This test run of products could not be any better. I am telling you, you would think they came out and took measurements of your specific car to make the parts. The staff at ACC is knowledgeable, friendly, and fantastic to deal with. You can check out some pictures of the car and tell me what you think. I will answer just about any question you may have about it. The mirror trim was great, I like G8 on the products. The rear view mirror was cut a little larger then the air bag lights but still looks great. The center console cover turned out pretty nice, I did have a few issues with the inner fender covers but that was due to other aftermarket products I had under the hood. Judah helped me solve most of the issues I was having. The laser mesh stuff was perfect, and a great way to cover the black plastic kidneys and all.

I know the shots are not the best. The car has been in the shop for a while after the car was being backed off of a tractor trailer when going to SEMA. I want to get some more up, but it may be spring since we have about 2" of snow on the ground here in Pittsburgh PA. If you need any more pice, just ask. I may be able to get more. The product looks 10 fold better in person. One of those Pictures don't do it justice kind of things.

the under hood piece looks really good. I have heard it is not easy to do. I also like the heater and mirror surround. Any pics of the front grills?

None of the front grilles yet. Should be able to get some soon when I get the car back from the shop. They look great though. they sit pretty flush with the front end which I like. The G8 needed an option like these grilles.

As far as the hood panel. I was a little bit taken back by the instructions saying to remove the hood, put it on a flat surface with a soft cloth below it and then start. I knew I was not going to be able to reuse the plastic hood pins that keep the fabric panel on now. So I just sheared then off. Popped off the factory panel and put the mirror one on. You have to drill 2-3 holes. the panel already has the holes in place> I just used a black marker to put a pilot dot in place and drilled them out. I worked alone on the entire project and it took me about 45 minutes. Says you should be ready for a 1/2 day of work. I think it would be if you followed those instructions, but I am a little too lazy for all that. Close to the windshield there is a lip that held the most of the panel for me. Then I did the screw by the hood vent and it held itself in place while I finished working on it all. If I had taken my time through and through then I think it would only have taken about 1.5 hours.

On a side note, it mentioned possible rattles. I used Raam Mat sound proofer on the back side of the entire panel so it woulod not scratch/rattle/or allow additional noise through. I did not even attempt the install before so I could not tell you much about it (don't know if it would have rattled or anything. The heat really is not absorbed in it...). I just know that it hugs the underside of the hood better then the factory piece.

Like the rear diffuser pieces, please post pics of front when you can. Interior I was thinking of going with wood. But the more I think about it, the SS or brushed aluminum might be better. I know, that the front and rear exterior pieces, are held in place by a 3M product. But I might consider getting some nice SS or chrome hex type screws, drill holes and use as additional attachments. Looks great.

I like the ss or brushed aluminum better. the wood is tough not to look fake.

After I cut my finger and still broke the first pllastic clip, I said to Hell with this. Used a blade and cut the rest off. Pulled the factory liner out and was able to get the clips off the rest of the way, easily. I can get those clips for llike .68 cents each. Putting the new one on was a breeze. I got everything in place before I pealed off the plastic cover.
