YES, but you don't need to dim before you push both buttons to turn the lights off.

Your lucky Las Vegas gets NO snow and hardly ever drops under 30 degrees!

Why??

I'm guessing he stores the G8 in the winter?

G8 GT w/factory All-season Tires + 52k miles + 14" of snow = No Travel for me. My Subaru Impreza 2.5i loves snow and ice.

I have tried it and personally do not like the "stealth mode" it is too dark in the car.

No why would you want/need to do this?

I use it all the time, at least on the highway. I like having the cabin dark.

ICE! SNOW! SALT! SAND! 10,000 SUVs that think they CAN'T slip on ice! Want anymore reasons?

X2!!!!!!

Seriously, there are people that didn't know about this? There's a thread somewhere about all of the goofy stuff you can do with combinations of buttons.

I use it when I have to drive long distances late at night. It allows me to see more outside, at least that is what I tell myself.

I use it all the time as well. It's great for highway use.

So you would want to use the stealth mode bc of Salt... I'm going to have fun with this and say I don't see how "stealth mode" will help you with any of the above

the stealth mode is for dark country roads so there is less glare and less lights obstructing your vison in case of an animal or something in the road i use this on a few roads by me at night just hit the 2 illum. buttons at the same time and u can press either one to get ur lights back on.

I'm pretty sure you missed something or I did. I would kill to have a force field instead of "stealth mode".

I can't even try my Stealth Mode until late spring because the roads are covered with snow, ice, salt, and sand. I'm not driving my G8 in that shit!

I read the manual too.

I have used it and at night it is nice becasue the radio screen is to bright even when I have the lights dimmed all the way down.

Only read the manual when I can't get something to work becasue I have messed it up. Example, resetting your TPMS. I have to have the book with me at each tire to make sure I do it in the right sequence.
