OK so I've been doing a bit of groundwork with some exhaust guys from Australia to get you guys a decent catback exhaust.

We'll be looking for a couple people to try these out.

For you guys that have been asking about the XForce Varex system, well one guy with a VE LS3 recently replaced his weeks old 3" XForce with Varex for a 2 1/2" F1 System, he couldn't be happier with his decision. Dyno charts show he lost about 2 HP in the change to an 2 1/2" F1 V open cutouts on a 3" Varex.

Here's a Couple VE LS2's with F1 Exhaust.
The red one is completely stock other than the cat back F1.
The white one has a cam and SS OTR, Xforce headers and cats, and the F1 catback.

You'll need Quicktime Player for the first 2 vids.
You can get it for free here:

Paul,
Since I already have long tube headers, I'm looking for a muffler that has a little less drone than the inexpensive Magnaflows.

I'll talk to them and see if we can do a system starting right at the front of the centre front muffler. They always run all 3 mufflers with these systems. They dont like just providing the mufflers because you dont get the full benefits that way.

You should be able to view here, 22 pages of reports from Oz. No drone found. All types of cars including wagons, utes, a few different engines up to LS3........only thing we dont have in Oz yet is DOD.

Sure is shiny. What was the guys issue with the 3" system and what did he like better about the 2 1/2" system? Thanks.

I hope you can view and find time to read some of the 22 pages I posted a link to. There's guys there that have tried 3 complete systems before settling on the F1.....and couldn't be happier.

The twin 3" on the LS3 had the electrically operated butterfly bypass system called Varex. Pretty sure his complaint and the main complaint on most other systems is Drone.

Did the other systems have the middle muffler?

I will try to read the link.

I read most of the link. I'm just leary about cutting into my American Racing system to add a resonator.
I'm going to find a way to do it with just rear mufflers, even if I end up crazy like you. LOL

Yes almost all people run the front muffler here.

Really? That surprises me. Is is simply for drone? Do you guys have strict emissions laws like we do?

Also, when do you sleep Paul?

Yes drone and also to get the overall volume of noise down. We get pulled over by the Police for excessive noise, you then have to go get tested for a reading and changes made if it exceeds the limit.
Not so strict on sniffer tests here yet. I've never had one.

Arrrrrr sleep, I remember now what its like.
: )

Is there an X-pipe in the fwd resonator?

Never mind. Found the answer. No x-pipe.
