I had this cam installed in my G8 for a month a decided I wanted to delete the DOD and go to a larger cam. The specs are 224/232 .570/.570 113 LSA Also included are PAC .600 lift springs, trick flow pushrods, and an LS7 timing chain dampener. This kit goes for $750 new. I am asking for $450 shipped

Did you have trouble with any valve train noises, clicking, tapping? What is the lobe separation angle? 112*?? 114*? 116*?? Would you need a converter or will the stock converter work? What is the pushrod length? What is the idle RPM? Thanks.

The valvetrain was slightly louder than stock but that is to be expected with a cam. I thought that I had a lifter go bad but when I tore the motor apart I found out that I had a valvespring fail due to a manufacturing defect. I had all the parts already so I went ahead and installed a DOD delete kit and a bigger cam. New Era warrantied the springs so the ones included will be brand new. The LSA is 113. This cam worked well with the stock converter although an aftermarket converter would help to get the most out of it. The pushrod length is 7.425 which is .025 longer than stock. I had the idle set at 750 rpms.

No I went with a Texas Speed cam. 229/236 .624/.615 111 LSA I had a very similar cam in my old SS and had really good results. The only problem I have now is I need a converter.

If you still have this in a month or 2 I might be interested. So hard not to spend money right now.

May be a stupid question but can you install the cam without installing headers/exhaust?

Sorry Shawn. I didnt really put much thought into it until recently when it started getting cold. I would like to have another set of wheels for the winter.

This cam could be installed with stock manifolds but you would want headers to get the most out of it. The catback doesnt matter it is mostly for sound.
