NO SANDING REQUIRED!!!

Well I got bored with my winter set-up so I thought I'd do something crazy with it.. You might not all know I was JDM Car Fan-Boy so I wanted to fit in more at the JDM Meets lol..

Materials:

3 Cans of Plasti Dip (2 Shown but had to get a 3rd)
2 Cans of whichever color you want (you can use only Plasti Dip if thats what you want)
2 Cans of Duplicolor High Performance Wheel Coating
Total Cost: ~$50-$60

1. Mask off anything you want unpainted.. Plasti Dip sprays really weird so be careful when spraying it. Wait 30-45 min between coats (depending on outside temp)

You need 3 Coats of Plasti-Dip per wheel if you want it thick and easy to paint. Also, make sure you spray the inside of the wheel too! I did only 2 coats on the inside..

Wait about an hour or two.

2. Spray on the color of your choice, 3 Coats 1 Coat on the inside unless you really care about the inside of your wheel.. (you can skip this step if you just want the Plasti-Dip)

Like I said, I wanted the JDM look. lol very odd choice of color, but I liked it, so do girls ehehhehe

3. Final Step. Spray on the High Performance Wheel Coating, to be on the safe side I went 3 Coats outside and 2 inside (once again if you're just using plastidip you can skip this step)

it dries pretty fast.. so you can rush through this step lol..

final product..

I think the green rims would look killer around this time a year on an orange g8. Talk about pumpkin power!

Nice write up.

omg is right haha.. definately different and probably not a bad thing in a blizzard. We can do "glow in the dark" powder coat, that would get some attention for next year!
