Will be 18x8 front and 18x9 in rear. What do y'all think.

I like it, all except for the red "M". IMO, throws off the balance of the wheel. I like the black/red theme, I was actually thinking about getting this wheel until I saw the Drag-37s, and considered having the lip powdercoated red. Should be super cheap, they will powdercoat the whole wheel for ~$40-45. I'm expecting prolly $25-30/wheel for the stripe.

How about those?

wont you need bigger rears even for the street with these things being such "monsters" ?

Otherwise I like the red stripe on the black, just not a fan of the "fit all" lug hole drilling.

I like them, but I'd go 18x10 for the rears.

What brand?

Don't make a 10 for rear. I'll still fit a 275/285 on them. That's what originally wanted but so far this only thing found I like. Montegi Racing.

I have some 15X10 racestars coming.

I like the look of the wheel except all those extra lug holes.

I like the wheels but not the extra holes.
I really like the chrome wheels you have now. Are they not wide enough?

Not a fan of the red stripe. I really like the style of the wheels that come on the gt500. I think they look really good on the mustang.

All those extra holes you people are talking about, are for center caps...not lug holes
Brad, the wheels are OK in my opinion...but i would go for something more like this

The gt500 rims are nice. Buddy got a set for $500 with tires. He got lucky. The cheapest I can find them are about $400-$500 each rim.

Those second types would look good on my SRM G8. Don't know about how they would look on a Mustang. Kind of like putting a ribbon on a pig. I think its great that you guys check with us on your Mustang improvements. Since, you know we still have the better taste.

I'm excited, can't wait to see what the tune does. I have zero engine, exhaust, trans, and gear mods so it will be a true "tune only" test.

The wheels are universal. The extra holes are for a different hole pattern.

Not to change the direction of this 5.0 Wheel thread....but George, weren't you tuning your G8 yourself? Is tuning software not available for the 5.0?

I was tuning it with a LOT of help from Charlie.

I don't feel confident trying to do anything with the Mustang. Also, I'm not sure of any software that would help me.

Diablosport. Or trinity.

Red Stripes belong in my hand, a cooler, or behind a bar, not on a wheel IMO.

Why not go with 9" on the front?

That's pretty much the same as the SCT X3, isn't it?

My wheels have a shit ton of holes also, they're not universal
the extra holes are center cap screw holes
maybe those are different as those holes look fairly large

My tune will be here tomorrow.

If I can get away tonight, I might run to Island to get a stock time or two.

Yes it is. Patrick just told me a software for dyno tune but I forget.

CMR software is what he said.
