Santa came to my house yesterday!

Got the intake installed, took about 45 minutes with a bit of screwing around. Nothing to do with the New Era part, just me going back and forth a bit.

Have to say this is sweeeet!

Nice sound change; nothing real loud at low throttle, but when you open it up it has a nice of growl. Sounds like a V8 should. Also it's suprising how much space is opened up under the hood once you take out the sound baffle and stock intake. Sure makes getting to the driver side lights easier, this is a plus if you have made any HID changes, or are planning any other mods.

Noticable kick in power, no hard data to report but it's definately a step quicker. Next step is to get this baby tuned. The plan is to get together with Vector Motorsports and see what we can do.

All in all a real easy mod for a nice result. Power is +, sound is +, don' have enough time to speak to mileage but what the hell, it's a V8.

I know there are a lot of shots of the New Era Intake on the site already, but thought I would share. Quality is not good due to taking them indooors as it's dark now. Outside was somewhat earlier.
