View Full Version : I gots me some goodies today

Well i woke up this morning and heard the Yankee Buck is at par with our Canuck Buck, so i made a few calls and ordered the SOLO Axlebacks, Got a killer deal on a brand new K&N threw my work, and i ordered a Throttle Body Spacer that Airaid just came out with that works with the 3.6ltr engines.

So hopefully mid next week i'll have some installing to do


Well got a call today saying 2 of the three parst arrived. My intake and Throttle Body Spacer. So i just got home and took the 10min to install the TBS and it does fit the g8's 3.6 so i'm gonna email Airaid and let them know to add it to the list. I'll Install the Intake later tonight when i get home. But anyways heres some pics of the TBS taken with my cell phone ( pretty impressed on the quality lol )

Now that I'm working again I'm seriously considering some Solo axlebacks. I'd also like to get some LT headers and catted mid pipes but I'm afraid the car might be too loud with no mufflers. Hmmm....

Always fun to have new goodies on the way. Real happy with the Solo axle-backs here, they sound great.

Don, we put my Solos on a car with ARH catted headers and it was LOUD! Sounded mean but was too loud for every day.

Indy thanks for letting me know about the car being too loud with headers & Solo axlebacks. If I get LT headers I'll keep my Borla axlebacks. If I get mid length headers and use the stock mid pipes then I'll get the Solo axlebacks.

no. stupid k&n had the clamp missing for the filter, so i have to look for one of those, and my solo's should be here thursday im hoping

usually it increases airflow, and mpg.

i do notice now with my tbs, intake, and solo's my mpg's suck hahahahaha. the sound noveltyneeds to wear out so i can drive normal again

the PEG CITY coppers like to enforce "normal" EX as city cash flow is MIA
