I know there are several of my GTO boys on this board as we have talked over there and I appreciate yall pointing me over here to help me with my new G8. I am a family man with 4 kids under 7 who is also performance car enthusiast. I have had a long hard road with my last few GTOs with the last one burning due to a transmission seal 1 day after she was finally finished :( My GTO before that one holds the record for fastest Stock bottom end GTO ls1 or Ls2 going 10.21@134 with a 200 shot of nitrous. My first GTO aka Nellie was a Twin Turbo 408 who was built for the texas mile. We had electrical gremlins that ended her run. Before the GTO the only modding I had done was headers and intake on my 2001 Grand Am GT and then a 1999 Eclipse GSX fully built 400awhp (that car was a piece of crap!)

Any ways my name is Daniel Linnett and I hope to share my knowledge of LS based vehicles with you guys. I sure have some to learn about this crappy DOD at least until I get rid of it!

Since buying the car last Friday I have installed Kooks LT and just got FAST 65lb injectors to go with the new 3.2 pulley I will be putting on this weekend.

I had the car dynoed before the Headers and retuned and she put down 443rwhp and 430tq. I hope with the swap from 3.5 down to a 3.2 and adding the Kooks that I will come close to 500rwhp. I am just wanting this family car to at least run high 11s. I am so used to running Low 10s that this will be a big change.

Wow, Kevin's car went to Texas, nice ride my man. Congratulations, I think your gonna love it here. Best board on the web!
But I am still in disbelief at the number of Texas owners on our board. If I ever visit Texas, I'll expect to see a G8 on every street corner like Corollas are here in the Ohio.

Thanks man it is good to see familiar people. I can ready tell I will prefer this form over the g8board. It is like talking to a bunch of noobs.

That board is full of morons. I have like 30 posts there. Most of the mods suck a dick, as well.

I'd definitely stick over here.

Thanks everyone. Now I just need to find out why it wont 60' worth a crap at the track. feels like there is a delay when I press gas to when the power comes in. Will be impossible to Index race this car if it doesnt respond quicker. I wonder if I can change something in HP tuners or if the problem is the stock converter?
