Muncie Oct. 9th

I'm planning on going to Muncie Dragway on the 9th. With cooler weather I'm hoping to get into the 12's.

did you get some dr's yet? I dont know if I am going there is another Purdue cruise that day.

I'm not going to run dr's until I replace the axles with better ones. The last two times I have ran it, I didn't have any traction problems, so I am counting on being able to hook up.

they say that Muncie does a good job of prepping the track so you should be able to hook.

Well, I've seen Muncie have its good days and not so good days. Hopefully it will be a cool day with just partial clouding, low humidity, and they've cleaned any rubber buildup off the track. When I worked at US41 we literally had to scrape it at least every other week, now with frequent rubber draggings it helps some.

As a side note, see if you can get a gallon of VP Bite and apply it to your tires before you go. Easy to apply, works pretty darn good. Not quite DR level sticky, but better.
