day was shit... Didn't get 1 clean pass. power is pretty much useless if you cant get traction. the on/off rain didnt help either!

Are you not using drag radials? Have you tried launching in second?

No drag radials yet. I still have the heavy chrome 20" wheels with generic all season tires(what a joke). I babied out of the hole with a 2.2 sec 60' and let off at the 1-2 shift, then i was able to get back on and stay on till the end. finished at 121.53 mph.

Haven't tried launching in 2nd, with the stock converter and gears i think it would be a dog.
