After calling a few places and a little negotiation I got a price breakdown from Sam'sTint in Nanuet. Since my bumper has 5 huge front plate holes I was thinking of not doing the bumper and letting it get chipped and in the future get a GXP bumper (or wait until someone hits it and insurance pays for it), which is why I got prices without the bumper. He said he'd offer these prices to any G8. He uses 3M and Xpel cuts, and is 3M certified.

$375 half hood/front of fenders
$625 half hood/front fenders/rocker panels/luggage (top of rear bumper by trunk)
$695 half hood/front fenders/front bumper
$995 half hood/front fenders/front bumper/rocker panels/luggage
$1595 full hood/full fender/mirrors/bumper/rocker/luggage

So far everyone local I've been calling as been more $. He also does window tint and vinyl roof covers in white/black/carbonfiber/silver. Might get mine done this week, just cant decide on that front bumper. Getting the holes fixed professionally would be $400 to $500 and might as well go GXP for $600-$700. I just hate to have non-OEM paint on a new car. I've never seen any nonOEM paint look perfect in the long term. So it just seems dumb to spend $300+ to protect something already full of holes, but I do want the hood and fenders protected since I have zero chips so far (only 4,000 miles on car).

Im looking into going to the 3M classes to install the clear bra. Its $1000, 3 days and like 3 hrs away unfortunately. May be a project for next summer. Crazy part is that in order to be certified you have to go through the class AND order $2500 worth of material.

I was looking into the di-noc and it is crazy expensive. Its like $5 a sq foot when you buy in bulk. Im going to do the neffy wrap the interior over the winter.

I was just looking at real carbon fiber and its reasonable. Its like $30 a yard. Except you have to layer the resin and then buff the car when it dries. I think Im going to try doing the spoiler this winter as well.

Dropped my car this morning. Doing everything but the bumper, since its full of front lic plate holes. No reason to protect it. If i ever have the money I'll go with a GXP bumper.
