Already ordered my CAGS bypass

LOL I won't have a car for over a month and I just bought my first mod (if you can consider this a mod).

I hate the CAGS so much that I bought one early. I'm assuming that the same piece that goes on the Vettes will work on the GXP transmission. Anyone know if there might be any issues?

$22.00 isn't too bad for the part I don't think.

I wish I could do that. I can probably spring for this a CAI and possibly a tune. The headers will have to wait a little while.

I would love that but I'm doubting it will be that fast. My issue is that I could probably squeeze the "minor" mods by my wife without much fanfare but the one big mod that I want will be pretty tough. I really want a supercharger of some sort.

Computer assisted gear selection. It locks out second gear and redirects you to forth gear at low loads.

Research cags on LS1.com. IIRC, I deleted CAGS by putting a 5.5 K ohm resistor (purchased at Radio Shack for less than 1 dollar) in the connector at the front of the tranny (T56). just inserted it, and taped it up.

why not just turn it off in the tune?

This was before the tune. Usually, when you first get the car, even before the tune or mods, you want this feature removed.
