Just one week on from revealing the new VE Series II Commodore (http://www.themotorreport.com.au/tag/holden-ve-series-ii-commodore) range, Holden has today announced availability of a new Redline Edition specification for its Calais V-Series and SS V-Series models. Entering as the top-shelf option, the Redline Edition grade will be available with Calais V-Series sedan and Sportwagon models, along with the SS V-Series sedan, Sportwagon and Ute models. All Redline models will feature four-piston Brembo brakes up front, along with the unique 19-inch forged alloy wheels (fans will recognise these rims as once featuring on the US-market Pontiac G8 GXP).

Among the features specific to the Redline Edition line-up, sedan models will score a new track-inspired FE3 'super sports' suspension package.
A full-colour satellite navigation system is standard with the Redline range (as part of the new Holden iQ system), and all models excluding the Ute also feature a reversing camera. Each model in the Redline Edition range is powered by Holden's 6.0 litre V8 engine, compatible with E85 bio-ethanol fuel.
