Another 12 Second G8...

I took the G8 GT to the track today with the nitrous. I knew I would have a few issues with traction but once the nitrous started spraying I had to completely get out of it then step back in it right afterwards. Still managed a 12.809@111.71. Not bad at all considering the situation. Mods on this car are KBX CAI, Magnaflow exhaust, KBX HP Tune, 100 progressive wetshot on the stocker 19" summers.

Here is the full breakdown of the timeslip:

I did another run on the nitrous and got a better 60' and my 330' time was about 1/10th better than this run but then the damn nitrous ran out. Still "coasted" to a 12.96@106.53. I got a little lazy last night after tuning it and figured the rest of the bottle could last me for the track day. I guess I used more then I thought I had. I am such a lazyass sometimes. :clap:

Once it has traction I feel that this car easily has low 12's in it considering how much I had to get out of it on the first nitrous run.

I will post the timeslip once I get a chance. Someone might have taken a video of it too so I will have to check and see if I cannot get that too.

Thanks. More than probably needed to be. I took a little more out than normal to offer more of an all around "beat on it" street tune for the car.

I would just get a second bottle and add it into the system for more capacity but I really have spent more money on putting this system together than I originally intended. The more I spend on this the less I will have remaining to fund the TT project next summer.
