Anyone know if those fender vents are functional on these cars?

The vents are open, but not connected to any ducts or anything behind.
So not really functional.

Well crap on the functionality question. But yes they do look great. Crazy Paul what would it take to put these on a G8? Is that a two piece fender?

No the HSV fender is made in 2 pieces and then welded to make 1 piece.
Remove Pontiac fender & Install HSV fender.
I have a new set of HSV fenders including vents, repeater lights, badges .... currently in Ohio.
Send me a PM if you are interested.

I think Paul still has a set here in Ohio for sale. If they weren't so expensive I would pick them up.

I still want those taillights/fillers and bumper [or cutting off the sections from a wrecked HSV bumper]

Tail lights and the filler caps for above them are ridiculously expensive. I asked around everywhere I know locally in the past 2 weeks and nobody has any used ones.
The tail lights are not very reliable, you'd be taking a risk buying those used.

Interesting. There were some on ebay months back I almost bid on.
Used is probably far less than new...I have access to great electrical skills for repairs...

I wish mine didn't have anything there. If I could afford it I'd have the area welded over.

One day I'm going to win the lottery, and Paul is going to send me a 2010 Commodore piece by piece to do the right hand conversion.
Hey, a guy can dream.
