I'm guessing a 7 liter.

I might be wrong but I didn't think the HSV GTS came with the 7 liter and the title ov the video claims "cam only". Depending on the year it's probably either a LS2 or an LS3.

W427 is the 7.0, that is a LS3 or the article on line said it is.

Yep, you're correct. Unless it say's W427, it's a LS3.

Thats an old clip.
Up until about April 2008 all the VE HSV's had LS2.
Now they all have LS3, except the W427 with the 7 litre LS7.

That particular car is a cammed LS2.
You can tell by the badging on the rear VE LS2 was 307, newer VE LS3's are 317.

The HSV GTS front conversion kit includes:

Hood, Hood Latch/Catch, Hood Insulator,
Front bumper fascia extension,
Upper grille radiator, Front bar fascia, Front bar absorber,
Front fog lamp bezel x 2 (Left hand side and right hand side),
Front fog lamps x 2, Lower RAD Grille (black) & badge,
Front fog lamp wiring harness,
Hood header panel,
Bumper mesh.

Then you should also add IMO
L & R Fenders
L & R Fender Flutes with repeater lights
3 x GTS badges

As Paul shows you'll need an entire kit to do this, changing everything including your hood. I'm interested in just the bumper and not the hood and
When I asked someone over on G8Board who's done the swap he said that the g8 hood stuck out too far by a few inches after putting on just the bumper.

From what i've heard it's because the G8 has an extra 'bar' in the bumper so it sticks out further than the GTS version. You can tell this in sideshots especially when you look right at the area underneath the headlights etc.

I REALLY need to find a custom bumper place to make that 'inbetween' version - http://forum.grrrr8.net/showpost.php?p=20813&postcount=12 - i'm surprised with all the knowledgeable people around here no one seems to know any place that does custom fabrication work.
