CHC wants to BBQ not many have come forward with what they are bringing,so I am not sure the BBQ is going to happen. We can just hang out. The park has a zoo there. You will be coming down 65 you might catch up with CHC on the way down.

Bring as many as you want. I know we have G8's and GTO's at this point. There was a post last night of a firebird coming. IGH is GTO, G8 and LS based vehicles. We have guys from Indy on ls1 that show up. LS1 is the big board for 75% of the guys from IGH. This is the same park that we ended the Purdue Cruise at. I know a few of you showed up for.

There are a few members from this board that I'm going to see if they want to come down. Another member from the other board who doesn't post much that has the ex Granatelli Motorsports twin turbo G8 that I'm going to see if I can get in touch with as well.

Not a big turn out as of yet. There has been talk of moving it to Sunday the 19th. Both groups have members that work Saturdays. The "Purdue Cruise is the 19th" in Lafayette. We went earlier this year and had 35 cars for this event,also I find out that Saturday is the first Purdue home football game. Let me know what you guys think.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to send out a mass message letting everyone know that there will be another "Purdue Cruise" on September 19th at 1:30 PM. The meeting place is the same (Meijer Parking lot off of SR 26). The route is still to be decided, but is guaranteed to be a good time none-the-less.

I will update as more information becomes available. For up-to-date information, please refer to LS1Tech.com --> Midwestern Section --> 3rd Annual Purdue Cruise!! September 19th.

Since G8Ray isn't going to be there I'm out! :bleh:

OK in all honesty, as much as I have been looking forward to this and making arrangements to get there, it appears as though I am not going to make it. I have had some work issues come up this week and my wife has some things she needs me to do while she is doing an EMT ride along for her nursing school that are going to keep me here at home. I could have possibly made it, but I would only have been able to stay for like an hour, and driving 5 hours round trip just to hang around for an hour didn't make sense. Sorry guys! Maybe in 2011.... :)

The other local guys (TireDoc being one) weren't able to make it either. John's G8TT has developed the LCA clunk and he is getting it fixed this weekend. We're probably going to get together next weekend and I'll see if I can get some pics of it to show those of you who aren't familiar with the car.

Hopefully we can get something else put together before the weather turns to crap. And maybe, JUST MAYBE, I'll finally be able to make it to an event! :)
