Like the title states. Who in southeast lower Michigan is going and what day are you leaving. We should go as a group. I know Kev-o is going to be here, sofar all I know is its us two.

OK Aurora IL is on I-88 which is a toll road North of I-80. I would suggest people not run that road unless you want to spend 5-8 bucks in tolls and drive out of your way.

Oh I assumed you were going to be there for business or something... Yeah... DO NOT take 88... It comes here but it's the L-O-N-G way for sure.

If you're in Indy you need to jump on 74 and take it all the way in here... It's your quickest way. I've done the trip to Indy several times before. 4.5 -5 hours depending...

Hey if you dont mind another tag along, I was planning on heading out on Thursday also.... most likely early afternoon (I am working 3rd now and will need a bit of sleep thurs morning or 1 beer thurs night will turn me into drunken idiot!!). I can drive up your way and meet on 94 somewhere....

Why is it showing the route on mapquest (avoid tolls) is only 7 hours and google (avoid tolls) is 7.5 hours and the total distance is only 8 miles apart?

Mapquest SUCKS! It's taken me through more small towns than I can count. Google maps FTW!

Looks like I wont be able to make it for the meet.... I just found out that I have to be on call for work so I cant leave town too far this weekend....so I may just head up towards woodward this weekend? I will probably be up near woodward on wed night? Hope you guys have fun at the meet!!!!!

I'll be leaving from Plainfield (taking 1-80W all the way) Thursday afternoon sometime in the 3pm hour. Are ya'll meeting up sometime around that time so that I may join the convoy? Do not take this as a request to wait or change plans on my account. Just lookin' to hook up if possible.

I'm probably going to be coming through that area around that time Thursday. My plan is to leave in the late afternoon from SW Chicago taking I-55 to I-80.

I'm still trying to figure out how the National Meet ended up the same weekend of the worlds biggest car show/event!? I guess I'll stick around and program cars LOL

Where is your hotel? If you're as far north as I think you are, it would be easier to meet at one of the park-n-rides along I-55 or I-80's rest stop near Morris/Rt. 47. I'm game for anything.

Ok, if i can get out of here soon i'm going home to clean up then run up to Isle of Capri to meet anyone coming in today and hang out for a while. I'd guess around 7pm, look for a blue Caprice wagon with billet wheels or a 70 Chevelle wagon depending on if i need AC or not. Hope to see some of you soon.

We had to go to the hospital. My daughter in law is having a baby.She was admitted around 3:00 yesterday. They will induce her this morning some time. Well at least it will save me a trip back out here to see the baby. The baby is allegedly a girl. We will catch up with you this morning. Pm me or Ray your #
