Want to pull out the glass to do some soundproofing---anyone know the drill?

Why do you need to remove it. Cant you just remove the headliner to do it?

I like the use of the rock, but seems it might be a little messy for the inside of your car.

actually want to add material to the sliding cover inside the roof, which is thin as cardboard.....

If I had one to look at I could tell you. Alot of them are just held in with four screws. Have you raised it up just a bit and looked? They should be in each corner.
