View Full Version : Front Driver side window is slower than Passenger side

ive noticed when i roll both front windows up at the same time. the driver side takes longer lol

mine does the same thing, they told me the track was likely dirty and would need to be greased

almost all cars do this. I wouldnt worry unless one of the windows seems to be binding up during travel.

I agree with mom. I dont think I ever remember owning a car where both came up or went down exactly the same speed.

just get a can of silicone spray,roll down windows,and spray the channel that the windows ride in and you will be amazed,Also waxing inner and outer glass keeps the windows operation quick!

You sure the passenger side window isnt just "jumping the light" :).... maybe you need to tune the drivers side and not pull so much timing.. :) or maybe the drivers side is getting "bad gas" :)....

The lock works for the rear windows only. Are you noticing that? If so, it is working as intended.

Aye, since the master controls are the only ones in the front on the center console, the "window lock" only functions for the rear windows. (e.g. the window controls on the rear doors)

I was driving my old mans 94 cougar xr8 and those windows must have nitrous hooked up to them...lol
