Kaltech Tuning and Performance Z06 Killer Package for the LS3

I know this is a vette but I wanted to post the results to give everyone and idea of the stuff we're doing here and this is relative because heads used in this setup. This is and LS3 heads and cam package we did for a customer who wanted 500 rwhp on our mustang dyno. Well we hit the goal with 505 rwhp and 446 rwtq out of this setup. Keep in mind that this is using ported GM castings and a stock intake manifold which chokes the heads off by 30 cfm, so we're really looking forward to the ls3 fast intake being released. For reference this same car on the same dyno made 412/400 with boltons and a tune. Driveability is great with this setup. On stock gears you can drive the car around with just the clutch, no need for the gas pedal as there's plenty of off idle torque. Here's the dyno sheet:

Yeah, it's the blue vette. The cam is 230/240 but designed to the flow characteristics of the heads. You can't open you're favorite cam grinders catalog and duplicate this. We kept the lsa tight so it's snotty as hell at idle.

Automatics will be fine. As I said this car is a 6 speed and can be driven with just the clutch. This isn't a monster cam by any stretch of the imagination.
