View Full Version : What bushings will I "need"?

I'm a little nervous about the alignment issues that people are having. I have a few questions.

Will the GXP have the same bushings as the GT or are they upgraded as well?

If not, what are "the most likely to fail" bushings? I might start buying them early.

Thanks.

From what I understand, the bushing will be the same.

The struts/shocks and sway bars will be different.

The upper strut bushing is the one that wears out.

The recommended new bushings are the rear cross member bushings, the diff bushings and the front radius arm bushings. Basically the Street I package.

I'm assuming a lift is needed to replace these.

Well, a lift is never "needed", but it always makes things easier.

Well, the reason I ask is because my brother owns a body shop and has lifts but I'll have to drive an hour and a half and he'll "force" me to play golf with him. I SUCK at golf.

FYI - I'm at 12k with no suspensions problems....other than the stock set up is too loose :)

Go late in the day, this time of year it will be too dark when you are done to play golf.

You've never met my brother. He's at the golf course with frost on the ground waiting for it to thaw. I've been "forced" to play in 40 degrees with drizzle falling. He's crazy when it comes to golf.
