State inspection........ Help me out Charlie.

Hey charlie its josh, you replaced my spark plugs and coil packs about a year ago, im the guy with the yellow/black striped mustang if that helps you remember. Anyway, recently i got a tune for the car and i guess it threw off some obdII monitors. The car has cats and should be passing the inspection w/o a problem. It failed to pass due to two monitors, EVAP and CATYLIST they werent "ready". I need a state inspection sticker by the end of this month, do you know of any good place i could go that understands my issue and isnt a douche? I heard that i need to complete the obdII drive cycle for those monitors to start up again but i heard that takes a long time and several cycles.... i only have 11 days and counting.

Hey Josh, Make sure whoever tuned the car has the readiness monitors set up in the ecm correctly. If all that is well, make sure you have 3/4 of a tank of gas and take it for a long ride on th freeway cruising 60-63mph. with the engine already warmed up. Do this for about 3 miles. Get off freeway and shut car off for 10 secs, get back on freeway. Do this 3 times. If the car does not have Catalyst ready there is something wrong with tune or car. I am back at the 1092 location now too.
