I can't get hold of those HSV gauges and pod. HSV have a "captive parts policy" where certain parts are off limits unless the buyer has a valid HSV VIN and build number. Those gauges and things like HSV badges are on the list.

That said, there's a guy been selling those triple HSV pods on ebay.com.au

He will export to you guys. He's recently said he has none left tho.

I've been supplying peterg22000 with all the console parts to go with those HSV gauges. Peter has been a pioneer on this project and his final parts list will be different to as shown on that link.

Well, fine then, crush my hopes and dreams!!!

LOL

Next question.

Have you looked into the Monroe struts/shocks and Kings Springs combos?

I'll let you guys know if saudi starts selling those pods again on e-bay.
The Commodore guys here have been buying them too.

Just yesterday I looked into suspension bits for somebody. My mate who owns a mechanical workshop here said he's had problems with King springs sagging lately and has stopped using them.
He recommended, Lovells Springs, Koni Shocks, Superpro Bushes.

Use Lovells instead.

Shocks......Koni

3.27 or 3.45

3.27, with the lsd.

I think 3.45 is too much for a street car/part time racer. Don't you agree?

I will only do a 3.45 if I can get a 28 in tall tire on the back. Which right now I cant. Coilovers will allow it though.

saudi has magically found another gauge pod.
The starting price has also magically jumped from about AUD$500 to AUD$750

Still working on the crate diffs and diff gears. I need the weights so I can get freight to USA prices.
Ditto springs and shocks.

Are there installation instructions available for installing the gauges?

I <3 the Super Pro bushes, have them on my GTO and wouldn't run anything else. I also got one of the last sets of Whiteline coilovers for the GTO, I wish we could get that Tein set over here with the Whiteline remote adjusters.

I just read an older article about that Tein set up. That is pretty trick!

I have not seen any instructions except on this board.
There has to be about 4 or more guys who have done the install and know how to do it.

peterg22000 has done a write up on "how to" for his model.
There's a link in here:
