Was shooting shit the other day I want a cam that is very stealthy want to keep afm/dod but want the most out of it and was wondering if I go with a zo6 cam or a zr1 cam or any other oem type cam can it be used and can I keep dod never had to deal with it but like it for highway travel or can I go with something similar to those profiles just as a custom grind.
I know the prices for the oem are not that bad $$$ but never had to price out a dod custom cam before anyone that can help please chime in.

Pat G can undoubtedly spec you a sleeper cam that will be virtually undetectable and still work with AFM hardware. Livernois Stg 1C cam is also a subtle cam that's hard to notice unless you're really familiar with cammed cars.

Thanks for the kind words. There are really no good OEM DOD/AFM compatible camshafts that will give you performance gains over the stock cam. The DOD/AFM hardware has specific base circle dimensions and ramp rates. A custom cam is your most viable alternative.

I gained almost 50 hp and 5 mph in the quarter mile with Mikes New Era DOD cam. This way you can keep DOD. Look into that on his website.
