Here is the link to a pretty cool car show they do at MIS. At the conclusion of the day you get to do about 3 laps around MIS. Word from some friends of mine were they got to get up to about 90 mph. Never been, but I have registered for this year.

It is an awesome show! Taking laps on the track was great. I was out there with GT40's, Model T's, 4x4's, you name it, it was there. They police the track on the early runs. Groups of 20-25 cars run together. Take your laps late, last 2 groups and the cops were off the track. I made 100+ on the front straightaway before being signaled to slow it down!

I ended up being 322 for the pre-registration. Holy carshow Batman! Lol! Should be a great time.

What time you leaving? We are looking at about 10 AM. I know there is a group meeting at Cabela's around 9:30 but it is mainly the Mustang club of Toledo.

Not sure. I was planning on being up there pretty early, but I'm losing steam on that idea, lol.

Entered the muffler rap and came in 4th place @ 122db. A Roush Mustang won @ 128db. Not sure the total car count as of yet but I saw dash entry sheets in the mid-500s. Mine is the only G8 I have seen.

Finally did see another G8.....(Hi Rick). I believe there ended up being 598 registered cars and they think 600 unregistered.

4th is pretty good.you weren't off by much.wow over 500 cars and only 2 G8's.

Hey Jay,

Car sounded great in muffler wrap but looked even greater running the track! Loved seeing another G8 out there. Gotta get more next year. Maybe we can be the feature group like those damn mustangs were this year!
