A member from G8board is trying to organize a little get together in August. Post below:


This is a repost from the recent "Raleigh Area GTG" thread, but I thought I would clean it up and start fresh with the official information in a new thread:

Official Date Set: SATURDAY, AUGUST 7th, about NOON-ish at Carolina Auto Masters.

I just got back from a talk with the owner Jeff Creech at C.A.M.'s, and we've pooled the thread responses and his availability to come up with that date. I hope this works for as many G8 owners as possible, and I will see you there on AUGUST 7th.

BBQ at the shop for lunch. More Details to follow.

113 South Elizabeth Street, Durham, NC.

P.S. ALL LS-powered toys are welcome, but this is still primarily a G8 meet.

Alright, thought I might not make it, but now it looks like I'll probably be able to.

Also, for anyone in the Raleigh area that is planning on going, this saturday is the monthly Cars and Coffee at Brier Creek. I'll be out there around 9:30 if anyone wants to meet up and then cruise over to CAM around 11:30ish. So, if anyone is interested, bring your ride out to Brier Creek and lets see how many G8's we can get lined up in the mix of ferarris, porsches, vettes, s2000's, etc...

Good to see you, Rick and Scott again from the southern parts of the state too! Good to meet some folks I haven't met before too and see Eric and others again too.
