Went to the track this morning to get a few runs in on my 18in drag radials. Best i could pull was 12.22 at 113mph with a 1.845 60ft time. The onboard display said it was 102 degrees outside and weather bug indicated that it was 52% humidity. I'm pretty sure with better weather I could dip into the 11's, but in Tampa it stays #%#@ hot most of the year. Anyone have any suggestions for cooling the blower down between runs? I just need to get that sucker just a little bit cooler. Good news is that a 2004 Terminator with a whipple just couldn't quite catch me. We ran heads up 3 times and I pulled him by half a car each time. He said he was running about 535hp at the rear wheels. He was a good sport and I still say nothing sounds as good as a blown mustang.

nice run! that is almost exactly what my 03 z06 ran. 12.22@114.5 1.88 60ft. but i only had about 93ish* out not 102...ouch! the cobies around here just throw some ice bags on top of the blower for a few mins before the next run, if you wanna try that approach. good luck and nice times!

Decent run specially so hot out. I think you can run a 11 easy..With the power and stuff with cooler weather you should hit some 11.6-11.8s

A buddy of mine jokingly suggested placing distilled ice cubes in the intercooler reservoir and the water/meth tank between runs to speed up the cool down process. At first I laughed, but now I'm thinking its not that crazy after all. I let the intercooler pump circulate while waiting at the staging lane anyway. Trick will be not burning off all your flesh taking off the cap.

The water never gets very hot in the reservoir so you should be OK. If it does your fans are set to come on too late.
